What is Strong by Zumba?
It's a high intensity interval class synched to music. We describe it as a dance fitness party. It may initially feel like that to you because we believe that the dance party atmosphere is very motivating. But this Zumba's heart and soul is powerful exercise. That's why we call it "Strong" by Zumba. If you've been to any of our HIIT classes, you will immediately recognize the high intensity segments. However, in Strong by Zumba, music is not an add-on. It's carefully engineered for strength training.
What if I can't dance?
Strong by Zumba is perfect for people who love to exercise to music, but might not be crazy about a dance exercise class. While the music has been specifically synced to match every movement, you'll be concentrating on the high intensity exercises and the martial arts moves. If you want to squat, lunge, kick, punch, and do push-ups and burpees, you'll be in the right place.
Why should I try it?
Because it's tougher Zumba. If you've already attended regular Zumba and want to take it to the next level, this is the class for you. It is a demanding workout that hits every muscle group in your body. In order to own a workout this hard, it helps to have the motivation of the music and the other people in your class. Try it for a month and we think you'll be hooked.
